Bunnahabhain 18 year old has won a gold medal at Selections Mondiales des Spiritueux Canada, this competition allows the appreciation of spirits of any nature by a jury of experts and experienced consumers.

The annual Festival of Malt and Music took place once again on Islay in May with the Bunnahabhain Open Day taking place on Friday 27th May. The Festival has been in existence for over 15 years with the content consisting of an open day (or part of a day) at each of the eight distilleries, during which tastings, competitions and musical or sporting events take place.
