Description

This limited edition single malt was hand selected and hand filled by the team at Bunnahabhain Distillery as part of the Warehouse 9 Collection.

The Collection is inspired by our Warehouse 9 tastings where those who make the pilgrimage to Bunnahabhain get to taste our special drams directly from cask.

This cask strength 9 year old single malt was distilled on the 1st of December 2014 and  fully matured in one of the finest Canasta sherry casks, once home to uniquely and skilfully blended sherry made from

Palomino and Pedro Ximenex grapes. 2014 Canasta Matured brings notes of dark berries, spice and creamy demerara sweetness.

Tasting Notes

Colour:

Deep mahogany

Nose: 

An explosion of dark fruit and spices, yet soft and balanced.

Palate: 

A burst of dark berries with the perfect balance of creamy demerara sweetness and a hint of spice.

Finish:

A long, lingering finish of stone fruit, sherry, sweet and spice.
