Inspired by the anthem of Islay, Westering Home, this three-year collection is a tribute to tradition, community, and the journey home. It honours the spirit of Bunnahabhain and the people who shape it.

Echoing the lyrics that once adorned our first 12 Year Old bottling in the late 1980s, each release tells a story – of setting sail, of distant shores, and of the deep-rooted, heartfelt connection to home.

An Cuan Garbh {An Coo-an Gaa-riv}, Scots Gaelic for "the rough seas", marks the second chapter in the Westering Home Collection. Inspired by the waters that lie between departure and return, it reflects the untamed journey home - where shifting tides, Atlantic winds and the pull of distant shores shape the path ahead. Through challenge and uncertainty comes perspective , carrying us onward through rough seas toward the warmth, familiarity and welcome of Bunnahabhain Bay.
