TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Zesty orange peel and grapefruit lead to honey drizzled almonds, pecan brittle, cracked peppercorns, spiced ginger biscuits, and sea spray. A lift of brioche and white florals.
PALATE
Caramel and bourbon vanilla meet golden raisins and sticky toffee pudding. Cinnamon, chilli chocolate and nutmeg dusted hazelnuts meet soft leather and coastal peat.
FINISH
Long and lingering gentle citrus zest, sweet spice, roasted nuts and salted caramel. Coca-dusted almonds, a trace of peat smoke, and a delicate thread of honeyed oak unfold.

UNPEATED ISLAY
Unlike other distilleries on Islay, Bunnahabhain is known for its iconic, unpeated Islay Single Malt Whisky.
A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
Situated on the Sound of Islay, Bunnahabhain is the most northerly distillery, only accessible by boat until 1960. Now by single track road, it is an adventure for whisky enthusiasts.
TALLEST ON ISLAY
Bunnahabhain's pear-shaped stills are the tallest on Islay. Their unusually long swan necks promote a lighter, delicate spirit character as heavier flavour compounds can't reach the summit.
UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT
Non-chill filtered with no added colour, Bunnahabhain is a robust, oily spirit that stands up to full maturation in sherry and bottlings at cask strength.
