ABOUT

Trì Seudan {Tree SHOO-tan} - meaning ‘The Three Jewels’ in Scots Gaelic - is a celebration of balance, harmony and the art of bringing distinct elements together to create something whole. Each ‘jewel’ represents a different sherry cask finish, each carefully selected for its unique character. Individually, expressive. Together, a composition that is layered, dynamic and complete.

MATURATION JOURNEY

This unpeated expression is a marriage of three distinct sherry cask finishes: Amontillado, Fino and Pedro Ximénez. Amontillado brings depth and nuttiness, Fino adds brightness and salinity, while Pedro Ximénez delivers richness and sweetness. Together, they form a beautifully balanced expression that reflects both the diversity of sherry cask maturation and the coastal spirit of Bunnahabhain.

WHERE UNIQUE MEETS EXCEPTIONAL

UNPEATED ISLAY

UNPEATED ISLAY

Unlike other distilleries on Islay, Bunnahabhain is known for its iconic, unpeated Islay Single Malt Whisky.

A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED

A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED

Situated on the Sound of Islay, Bunnahabhain is the most northerly distillery, only accessible by boat until 1960. Now by single track road, it is an adventure for whisky enthusiasts.

TALLEST ON ISLAY

TALLEST ON ISLAY

Bunnahabhain's pear-shaped stills are the tallest on Islay. Their unusually long swan necks promote a lighter, delicate spirit character as heavier flavour compounds can't reach the summit.

UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT

UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT

Non-chill filtered with no added colour, Bunnahabhain is a robust, oily spirit that stands up to full maturation in sherry and bottlings at cask strength.
