TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Packed full of cherries and wild berries, with caramelised walnuts, vanilla and a touch of espresso.
PALATE
Initial sweetness of black figs and blackcurrant jam are met with toasted malt, cocoa, a warming cinnamon spice and a gentle hint of tobacco.
FINISH
Lingering finish with raisins and a sprinkle of black pepper.

UNPEATED ISLAY
Unlike other distilleries on Islay, Bunnahabhain is known for its iconic, unpeated Islay Single Malt Whisky.
A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
Situated on the Sound of Islay, Bunnahabhain is the most northerly distillery, only accessible by boat until 1960. Now by single track road, it is an adventure for whisky enthusiats.
TALLEST ON ISLAY
Bunnahabhain's pear-shaped stills are the tallest on Islay. Their unusually long swan necks promote a lighter, delicate spirit character as heavier flavour compounds can't reach the summit.
UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT
Non-chill filtered with no added colour, Bunnahabhain is a robust, oily spirit that stands up to full maturation in sherry and bottlings at cask strength.
