Coterie Exclusive Release: 2008 Rioja Cask Finish
One of the highlights of 2023 was undoubtedly the unveiling of our Coterie exclusive release; 2008 Rioja Cask Finish. This exquisite expression beautifully marries the rich, fruity notes of Rioja wine with the signature Bunnahabhain character. Limited in quantity but boundless in flavour, it's no surprise that this release quickly garnered acclaim among whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.

Fèis Ìle: A Celebration of Whisky and Culture
Fèis Ìle, the Islay Festival of Music and Malt, holds a special place in our hearts, and this year was no exception. Tickets sold out under 30 minutes and we welcomed over 1,000 whisky aficionados from around the globe to our shores to celebrate our rich heritage, share our passion for craftsmanship, and raise a dram in good company. From three limited edition exclusive bottlings to unforgettable distillery tours and tastings, Fèis Ìle 2023 was a resounding success.
12 Year Old Cask Strength: A Force to Be Reckoned With
We were thrilled to introduce the third edition of our annual 12 Year Old Cask Strength release. Bottled at 60.1% ABV, this cask strength expression showcases the depth, complexity, and unparalleled quality that Bunnahabhain is renowned for. With its robust flavours and lingering finish, it's a whisky that truly captures the essence of our distillery.
Warehouse 9 Collection: Hand-filled and Hand-selected
We know not everyone is able to make the pilgrimage to our iconic Warehouse 9 at Bunnahabhain Distillery to taste our drams directly from cask, so we released a Warehouse 9 Collection of our latest warehouse casks. Hand selected and hand filled by the team at Bunnahabhain Distillery, these special cask strength liquids are inspired by our Warehouse 9 tastings and allow you to taste Bunnahabhain as our Master Blender does; straight from the cask.
Rare 1989 Tawny Port Cask Finish: Bunnahabhain’s First Single Cask
Last but certainly not least, the unveiling of our 1989 Tawny Port Cask Finish. Aged to perfection and finished in Tawny Port casks, this single cask spent most of its life maturing in Warehouse 4 at Bunnahabhain Distillery and offers a symphony of flavours from sweet grapefruit and stewed cherries, to bitter dark chocolate and honey roasted walnuts. Bottled at a cask strength of 46.4% ABV with a yield of only 270 bottles, this single cask is a true masterpiece that captures the essence of time.
