TASTING NOTES
NOSE
Notes of barley sugar, pear drops and toffee apples take the lead, followed by a burst of dates and a floral top note like conifer trees.
PALATE
Sweet and fruity, lots of green apple and pear candies. Some signature cereal, oily notes of Bunnahabhain and more toffee mixed with dried fruits.
FINISH
Spicy and powerful then floral on the palate.

UNPEATED ISLAY
Unlike other distilleries on Islay, Bunnahabhain is known for its iconic, unpeated Islay Single Malt Whisky.
A ROAD LESS TRAVELLED
Situated on the Sound of Islay, Bunnahabhain is the most northerly distillery, only accessible by boat until 1960. Now by single track road, it is an adventure for whisky enthusiasts.
TALLEST ON ISLAY
Bunnahabhain's pear-shaped stills are the tallest on Islay. Their unusually long swan necks promote a lighter, delicate spirit character as heavier flavour compounds can't reach the summit.
UNCOMPROMISING SPIRIT
Non-chill filtered with no added colour, Bunnahabhain is a robust, oily spirit that stands up to full maturation in sherry and bottlings at cask strength.
