2019 Palo Cortado Fassfinish

This single cask release showcases the rare elegance of Palo Cortado - a sherry style prized for combining the finesse of Amontillado with the richness of Oloroso. Bottled at cask strength and hand-filled, it is a distillery exclusive whisk with both youthful vibrancy and unexpected depth.

Distilled on the 11th of April 2019, this single malt spent its first years maturing in 2nd fill ex-bourbon barrels, where it developed clean sweetness and bright, orchard-fruit character. On the 13th of July 2023, it was transferred into a Palo Cortado cask numbered 215, which introduced notes of roasted nuts, dried fruit and subtle spice. The result is a harmony of precision and richness, bottled straight from cask as tasted in Warehouse 9, unfiltered and undiluted.
