NOTE DI DEGUSTAZIONE

NASO
Zesty orange peel and grapefruit lead to honey drizzled almonds and pecan brittle. A twist of cracked peppercorns, spiced ginger biscuits, and sea spray. A delicate lift of brioche and white florals.
PALATO
Caramel and bourbon vanilla meet golden raisins and sticky toffee pudding. Cinnamon and chilli chocolate bring heat, while nutmeg dusted hazelnuts meet a whisper of soft leather and coastal peat.
FINE
Long and lingering with gentle citrus zest and sweet spice, giving way to roasted nuts and salted caramel. Coca-dusted almonds, a trace of peat smoke, and a delicate thread of honeyed oak unfold.

This limited edition, distillery exclusive single malt celebrates an extraordinary milestone of Lillian MacArthur's 50 years of dedication to Bunnahabhain. For five decades, her commitment, knowledge and passion have been woven into the fabric of our Islay distillery. To honour her, we present this distillery exclusive bottling.

PERCORSO DI MATURAZIONE

A marriage of five exceptional casks spanning fives decades: 1975 Marsala, 1989 Moscatel Wine, 1997 Moine Manzanilla, 2007 Oloroso and 2014 Bourbon. Each cask was carefully selected to reflect a facet of Lillian's remarkable character, combining sweet, fruity, nutty, and subtly savoury notes. The result is a single malt layered with complexity, balancing richness and depth with an intriguing dry edge and a delicate twist of smoke.
