2005 Manzanilla Gerijpt

Drawn from a single Manzanilla cask and bottled at cask strength, this 2005 distillery exclusive captures the purest expression of coastal maturation at Bunnahabhain. Originally poured in our Warehouse 9 Tasting, each bottled was hand-filled directly from cask by our Visitor Centre team for those who can't make the pilgrimage to Islay's most northerly distillery.

Distilled on the 14th of February 2005 and fully matured in a single Manzanilla sherry cask, this whisky has spent its entire life absorbing the cask's delicate, saline influence. Manzanilla's naturally crisp, coastal profile echoes Bunnahabhain Bay itself - resulting in a dram shaped by two shores. After nearly two decades of quiet transformation, Cask 333 was finally opened for Warehouse 9, then hand-bottled exactly as it rested in the wood.
