1997 Palo Cortado Cask Finish
After spending 19 years slowly mellowing by the sea in traditional oak whisky casks, this delectable Bunnahabhain was then finished for almost two more years in rare Palo Cortado sherry casks. The result is a tantalising dram, full of berries and cream and a surprising hint of nutmeg.

2007 Port Pipe Finish
Tying together tradition and innovation, this limited edition shows our skilled whisky teams passion for excellence, and their strive to do something different. Having spent nearly 9 years in whisky refill Hogsheads, the liquid was then transferred into Portuguese Port Pipes for the remainder of the time. The result is a cask strength malt, with a unique sweetness limited to 1650 bottles.
2007 French Brandy Finish
“This magnificent 11 Year Old malt was finished for over two years in carefully sourced French brandy butts for a rich, sweet flavour underpinned by the classic Bunnahabhain nuttiness.” Andrew Brown, Distillery Manager After 8 years maturing in the cool darkness of our coastal warehouse, this exceptional malt was selected for a two and a half year finish in French Brandy butts. The result is an elegant, fruity dram with hints of chestnut, grape and salted caramel.
1988 Vintage Marsala Finish
‘For centuries, Sicily’s Marsala wine has been renowned for its robustness and depth of flavour. Islay may be 2,000 miles west, but Bunnahabhin shares the same richness of character, so why not unite the taste of the two islands?’ Andrew Brown, Distillery Manager Distilled and filled into traditional oak whisky casks on the 1st of December, 1988 the liquid was then transferred to four Marsala Hogsheads on the 7th of July, 2016. With a limited bottling of only 1260 bottles and presented in beautiful packaging, this is not one to miss.
Fèis Ìle 2019 Mòine French Oak 2008
This Fèis Ìle 2019 release started life in whisky refill casks, before being transferred to recently rejuvenated French Oak hogsheads to finish for a further 5 months in our coastal warehouses by the Sound of Islay. The result is a rich, oily, wood spiced, sweet, smoky dram with a delicious creamy mouthfeel. Limited to 1872 bottles, this is definitely a dram worth trying.

Pronounced 'coo-laa' and meaning 'something at the back' in Gaelic, this is a very special Bunnahabhain. Rediscovered in the back of one of our warehouses, this 18 year old Cognac Finish is bursting with apricot jam, spices, mint chocolate, creamy vanilla, almonds and a hint of sea salt.
