2004 Mòine Pedro Ximenez Cask Finish Whisky
This Distillery Exclusive whisky is alive with delicious contrasts. Expertly marrying Bunnahabhain's signature sweet, sherry notes with peat, this dram is bursting with flavour. Think milk chocolate, woody spice and sweet pears, finishing with lingering salty grapefruit.
This 17 year old peated distillery exclusive started life in refill hogsheads, before being transferred to Pedro Ximénez sherry casks on the 9th of March 2016 for a five year finish.
Maturing on the shores of Islay in our coastal warehouses, this sublime single malt is alive with delicious contrasts, expertly married with distinctive flavours found only in Bunnahabhain Bay. From the Pedro Ximénez casks, rich notes of chocolate, caramel and espresso are perfectly balanced with gentle ripples of honey, tropical fruits and sweet pears. The lingering grapefruit is the perfect reminder of the exotic influences that help shape this single malt's distinctive character.
