Cask strength whisky is bottled directly from the cask without dilution, retaining its natural ABV and full flavour intensity exactly as it matures in our coastal warehouses.

We choose casks that show exceptional depth and balance at higher strength, often from rich sherry casks or standout cask types that reveal bold flavours when bottled naturally.

Most cask strength expressions sit between 55% and 60% ABV, though this varies with age, cask type and evaporation during maturation.

A cask finished whisky is matured in one type of barrel and then transferred to another cask for a final period of ageing. This finishing stage adds additional layers of flavour and complexity.

The cask plays a major role in whisky flavour. For example, sherry casks often add dried fruit and spice notes, while bourbon casks can bring vanilla and caramel character.

Many of our cask edition whiskies are released in small batches or limited quantities, particularly when rare or specialist casks are used. Availability can vary depending on the release.
